Respite care provides temporary relief for caregivers and family members caring for people with disabilities or special needs. Respite care can also be employed to allow for recovery after a surgery or hospital stay. That’s where The Springs can help.
Caring for a loved one in the home can be a very rewarding experience but it can also be an overwhelming undertaking. It is essential that family members get sufficient and regular support as well as respite time.
As our Executive Director, Pauline has the privilege of leading the daily operation of The Springs, making our residents feel safe and supported while maintaining an independent and active lifestyle. With two decades of experience in senior care, Pauline has served in many roles, beginning as a Care Assistant, leading Memory Care programs, and even serving as our Business Office Manager.
She understands that it’s an emotional process for families to make a transition to senior care, which is why she strives to validate those feelings, and show compassion and patience through the process. Those are the values she instills in our team.
When she’s not working, Pauline is outdoors in her garden, running the neighborhood, or caring for her animals!
