We moved my mother in law to the Retreat at Carrollton and we are delighted with the place! My mother in law is happy, socializes more than in her previous place, the staff does a great job on including her in activities despite her older age, they have a great menu and the facilities are fantastic. Brownie point for Tony, the Director of Operations, who was of great help at moving her in, making her feel comfortable, answering all of our questions, and keeping us posted of her “whereabouts”, whether she is attending a music concert or watching a movie with other residents. Another brownie point for the blonde lady Director of the Retreat, she was working late at night on Thursday Oct 30th, hanging the Halloween decor and making the place look truly wonderful! She didn’t have to, but there she was! Highly recommend so far!

Moving anyone into assisted living is difficult (on the families and the resident). It's a hard change for so many people, but The Retreat made everything smooth for us. They've been helpful, kind, and accommodating to our family member. They've made a challenging time a little easier. Highly recommend!

I recently moved my Grandma and Mom into a two bedroom suite. They are beyond happy with the facility and all the amenities being offered and they both just love the entire staff! This place has been amazing. I was looking for a location to move my mother into and found it online. After visiting and meeting the staff we had a tour with Tony and decided this was the perfect place for mom. They worked with us as we had to move mom in and now she loves it. She is participating in all the activities and has found a new home. Truly a blessing and a wonderful place.

My dad loves the Retreat at Carrolton! He has been to assisted living before, and this is by far his favorite place he’s been to. I can rest easy knowing my dad is in such good care. The leadership staff including Tony, Kay, and Sondra are incredibly attentive and kind. It has been a pleasure working with every staff member at the Retreat.

I was trying to find the best fit for my parents. A Place for Mom recommended Retreat at Carrollton for us to visit. My husband and I decided to see it first before taking my parents for a visit. We were so impressed when we first entered the facility. It's brand new, with a lot of natural light. We love the contemporary style. The staff members provided a lot of very helpful information.
When we took my parents there, they fell in love with it right away. We took the advantage to choose the unit that fits them the best.

Now they've settled in for a week, they liked the food (3 meals a day), they love all the staff members there. They've been participating in all the activities, shopping, gym, Yoga etc. My dad has dementia, but he enjoys seeing people around and getting stimulated.

Our whole family is so happy and so thankful for Retreat at Carrollton. This is my parents' new home. Compare with living in their own house, I know this new home gives them a better life quality.

I attended the Retreat for their Seniors Mayfest event. The staff is very friendly and professional. Lindsey was my tour guide, and she showed me the apartment models, as well as the Courtyard with pool and spa and the BBQ area. It's an oasis with palm trees and I think that my loved one would enjoy relaxing there! The Retreat is clearly designed with seniors in mind. There are many amenities provided. I highly recommend this facility to those looking for quality light assisted living for their family members!
