I have been living in Emerson South Collins, for about one month now. It's a very nice place. The administration was very helpful. In getting me in to the complex.

I was very impressed with the Director, Chris Johnson. He was very friendly, helpful and cooperative, in getting me in to the apartment. He treats you like a person, not just a number.

I am extremely impressed with Director of Sales, Charmaine Sherriffee‼️ She needs a raise❗️ She is very friendly and helpful. She was instrumental I'm getting me to move in here. To this day she's very friendly and also greets me when I see her❗️

My first meal was a breakfast. The kitchen Director, Greg Perkins, came to where I was sitting, almost as soon as I set down. He introduced himself and greeted me and welcomed me to the complex. He is alway friendly and greats me everytime we meet.

I must say most all the employees, I have met so far are, are very friendly and helpful.

The complex is very clean and well maintained. They decorated for this Memorial Day. They observe and celebrate residents birthdays.

Except for Mondays and Wednesdays so far there are only 2 meals a day. I'm told that's changing and going to be 3 meals a day the end of May.

Only real complaints I have are as follows: it seams like maybe the kitchen is short on help and don't get all the supplies they need. Sometimes we can't always get what we want for breakfast. Even though it's on the menu choices we pick from. I'm not a big white bread fan, I haven't been able to get wheat toast since my first week here. Some mornings all I can get is scrambled eggs and not over easy fried eggs.

They do provide alternative meals. If you don't want or like the menu items. I'll have to admit they do make an outstanding chef salad as an alternative option❗️

So far I would definatly recomend this place to others. If I learn more i will definatly share that information.

This place is very unhealthy many health concerns in this place. They care nothing about there people that live here.
Most of there meals are not fit to eat. They talk about chef prepare meals they do not have chef they have a cook
They have no hot running 85% of the time , plumbing issues , electric issues
And so much other health concerns

I can't prove at this time but I have to believe they also have very bab black mold.

Please for health concerns do not move your love ones in

This place is very unhealthy

The best place for your loved one. They offer 2 meals 7 days a week all holidays in a dinning room setting served by servers who show their love and concerns.
ALL the employees show love and concern as well as treat them as family. Charmaine is an angel and you can see the love she has for each and everyone. She was so helpful to our family and such a source of information.
The tenants look happy act happy and are very friendly. They are very welcoming and most have been long term tenants if Emerson. Even family members of tenants are friendly and offer help.
They have security cords in bedroom and bathroom as well as a pendant for them to wear, housekeeping, trash service, utilities are included. They offer rides to shopping centers, banks, and doctor appointments, movie nights in a in house movie theater, plenty of community activities and events to do.
This is 5 star place for your parents and or yourself!

Absolutely wonderful meets all of your needs. Gives you something to do all the time. The dining is absolutely wonderful the piano bar, the staff, the housekeeping, the other residence. Make you feel welcome. I guarantee you you go there. You will love it. It will be your home for lifetime. My stay was short my health wouldn’t allow me to stay, unfortunately.
