As our Executive Director, Jennifer oversees daily operations and staff to make sure The Grove is a thriving community where residents love to live. When Jennifer was in college, her dad was the administrator at a senior care facility and asked her to fill in when their Dining Director had to undergo cancer treatment. She was so touched by the residents that she ended up pursuing her nursing certification so she could come back and care for them. Over the years Jennifer has served in many roles, from Nurses aide to Marketing Director to Business Office Manager. She’s been with The Grove since 2012. She is quick to give credit to our amazing staff for how well they care for the residents, and it keeps her going and makes it a rewarding place to work.
Jennifer’s favorite places are Lake Tenkiller, the pickelball court, or anywhere she can enjoy food with friends and family.
Tanya has been a LPN for 24 years, serving seniors throughout her career. As Leasing Director she is privileged to make connections with families and guide them through the process of placing loved ones in our beautiful and friendly community. “Helping a family find a safe and loving new chapter in their loved one’s life is one of the best feelings and why I continue to work in Senior Living.” She especially loves to see that current residents enjoy showing their apartments and answering questions when new prospects tour the property.
Tanya is a proud mom to two young adults and they enjoy the outdoors together camping, fishing and kayaking.
As our Marketing Coordinator, Sabrina loves making connections with future residents and families to help them find a home for their loved one. Early in life she had a desire to help others, leading her to career in Home Health and Assisted Living. Besides her adopted family at The Grove, she has three children and eight grandchildren that light up her life.
Angela serves as our Resident Care Director, which means she oversees care plans, medication management, labs, and all of our nursing staff. She has a long history of serving seniors, a career that was inspired while taking care of her own grandparents. After graduating from Platt with a degree in nursing, Angela went on to work in family medicine, Neurosurgery, and of course – assisted living. She has four grandchildren and enjoys fishing and riding horses.
Our Memory Care Coordinator, Jennifer, has a
special place in her heart for dementia residents. Her own father required care in his early 50s, and that inspired her to pursue becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2006. Every day Jennifer and her team check on the health of each resident and look for ways to make special connections to brighten their day. She especially enjoys receiving texts from families who express gratitude for our Symphony of Life program, a time-tested approach to dementia care. Jennifer has children and grandchildren of her own and enjoys making memories with them.
As Resident Service Director, Teresa oversees our full calendar of activities and events that bring fun and purpose to each day at The Grove. As someone who enjoys crafting, she’s always looking for ways that residents can enjoy exercising their creativity. In fact, she’s been participating in activities with seniors since high school, when she would spend time with residents that her mom cared for as a nurse.
She pursued her own nursing career by earning her CNA and CMA in 1996. Her approach to serving seniors is simple. “Listening and learning their history will give you the knowledge you need to engage them.” Married for 32 years, Theresa has three sons.
Alicia stays on top of all of our paperwork, billing and budgets, while also finding time to engage our residents. It always brightens her day “Having conversations with the residents – their words, encouragement and positivity are very uplifting!” With a degree in Health Care Administration, Alicia has also worked as a CNA, serving in both nursing and administrative roles. Gardening and remodeling are also a passion for Alicia.
Denisa prepares our delicious & healthy menu and supervises our dining team at The Grove. She believes a positive kitchen, along with food prepared with excellence, overflows to the residents. There’s nothing quite as energizing as enjoying good food with friends, as Denisa witnessed for over a decade while running her own catering company. She eventually brought her talents to senior living because of the rewarding and uplifting nature of the job. Denisa is married and has three grown children, and she enjoys hiking and breathing in the fresh air.
Jarvis is responsible for maintenance and safety at The Grove, serving with us since 2015. “My goal is to enrich lives and for me and my team to be successful.” Success for Jarvis is in utilizing his many skills in HVAC, plumbing, electricity, and of course,
changing light bulbs! Jarvis has also served as Chief Engineer in the hotel industry and knows what it takes to keep a property clean and efficient. He has two young sons.
