Executive Director

As Executive Director, Rebecca is well qualified to support family and residents within a senior living community. With over 10 years of experience in senior communities, Rebecca brings her enthusiasm and compassion for serving seniors, as well as her attention to detail and a genuine love for the residents and their families. Rebecca and her husband Jerry have 3 daughters and a son. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and trying out new recipes in her downtime.

Marketing Director

Mary Ann Armes is the Marketing Director for  Wyndham Court of Plano where she helps families navigate the journey into this warm and welcoming community.  She moved from Florida over 4 years ago to accept a position at Prestonwood Court, once included in the 12 Oaks managed family of properties, and worked as the Activity Director before accepting a position as Marketing Director there.

Prior to her move to Dallas, Mary Ann was the Resident Services Director for a large continued care retirement community on the gulf coast of Florida.  Before getting into the senior industry she had a career as a mortgage loan officer and branch manager until she purchased a company where she enjoyed a 350% growth and sold it some 5 years later.  After the sale of her business, Mary Ann married her husband Ron and moved to Minnesota and traveled with him for 12 years helping him create convention and incentive travel programs in many locations around the world.

The drawback to Dallas was grandchildren who were growing up too fast.  Mary Ann loves time with family which includes their dog, as well as creative arts, and gardening. She has invested many hours in volunteer work as the president of the board for these organizations: the Women’s Resource Center, the Paramount Arts Resource Trust, and the Dallas Junior forum, and also served on the board for the Better Business Bureau.  She lead a cooking team for the Ronald McDonald House in Dallas and loved serving the families there in particular.

She is a big believer in family, as she and her husband, Daniel come from large families. She is married to Daniel Galarza and together they have five children. Shannon enjoys making a memorable moment with her family traveling.

Activities Director

I am the mother of two wonderful children, one of which serves as an officer in the US Navy. I’m a born and bred true Texan! I have been blessed with three beautiful grandsons and love being their Grandma!

The greatest honor and most rewarding experience came to me when I was introduced to a career in senior living. I worked initially as a home health aide in the care of a wonderful couple, with the husband a retired army Major. Moving into private care, I received my CNA certification and began working in assisted living in the early 2000s as a caregiver. I loved my job caring for people. Seeing something more in me, my Executive Director asked if I would like to accept the position of Activity Director. More than 12 years later, here I am! Loving it like my first day! Being part of the team at Wyndham Court is such a wonderful working experience.
