As Executive Director, Paige in privileged to oversee the operation of our community, working alongside her team to make Azalea Gardens a safe and caring place to thrive. It’s the simple things that make her job truly rewarding. “There is no greater joy than making a resident smile or helping them with a simple task.”
Paige has been a LPN since 2018, working primarily in assisted living, and recently received her RC/AL Administrator’s license. Growing up, Paige cared for her elderly family members and knew she wanted to serve seniors as a career. She loved playing bingo with her grandmother. Now she and her husband play bingo and games with her mom. “It brings back the joy of the times that we spent together.”
Paige considers the residents of Azalea Gardens to be family, and wants them to feel the warmth of home in our community. Paige is married and has five young children, including a set of twins.
Walk into our dining room or kitchen and we’ll introduce you to Jeanette. She oversees one of the favorite features of our community–our restaurant-style dining experience! “Seeing residents’ faces light up at a delicious meal warms my heart,” says Jeanette. “Receiving compliments from them about how good the meal tastes is always the highlight of my day.”
Jeanette has been serving up delicious dishes for more than 30 years in the restaurant industry, and recently jumped at the opportunity to serve seniors with her culinary skills. She especially enjoys getting to know residents by having them assist her in preparing snacks. She says it’s been a life-changing experience.
Jeanette has two children, two grandchildren, and loves being outdoors where she enjoys fishing, hiking and camping.
It warms Lacey’s heart to see our residents smile when she comes by for room touch-ups, to fix common problems, or simply to change a light bulb. As Maintenance Supervisor she is responsible for the safety and comfort of our property. Lacey had a life-changing experience in 2020 when her dad had a stroke, and she spent most of her time taking care of him and helping him get better. She felt a pull to use her skills in the senior living industry, and we’re glad she did. She has a love of learning and enjoys time with her three children and watching their sporting events.
